    To AutoSort or Nort?

Hey Guys, Thanks for all your help so far!

I'm ready to 'flash' my box

I notoced there are two versions of the latest firmware. Autosort included and Autosort not included! - I would assume autosort is a good thing to have, but there must be a reason there would be a version without it......???

    Can anyone shed any light?

Hello m8, use the auto sort, this works fine and puts the channels in order for you.

Hi m8 it's there so when you do a power scan your channels can be fixed manually but i would stay away from the nosort 1 it has killed some boxes
if i helped hit the thanks btn

          Hey All,

So I'm sat with my notebook my EX1000SL and I'm scanning, but seem to be going round in loops trying to follow the sticky thread above!!!

Once its finished scanning how do I tell if the channels are on there or not? It seems to just go back to the scanning title page, where I press OK and it starts a scan all over again!!!?

Thanks mate, I have a box under the scanning graphics stating...

              TP : 004

              434MHz -- 6953(SR)
              442MHz -- 6953(SR)
              450MHz -- 6953(SR)
              458MHz -- 6953(SR)

              Any ideas?

During the scan, it should be showing you the TPs its picking up.
Then it will show you the channels it has pickes up.
Once finished scanning, it should show, saving date.

So I've just been and changed the Sym Rate, and am now scanning...I have a box top left, CH NUM, Freq., and progress. Top right corner Level and Quality bars which are flickering around to various percentages. Progress is showing 49/770. The TP box below just states TP : 000

                  What are TP's ?

122/770 and still no TP's - Would you expect there to be any yet?

It came up with two options - 6952, which I did first time round, I'm just re scanning using 6887 - What do you mean by 'if in pure' ?

TPs are the transponders. After that surch it shouls start to surch and pick up channels.
