newbie tryinf to flash Eurovox max

hi. i m trying to flash my box first time.i am in uk and my all channels stopped working tried tonns of codes but didnt help. is there any other option to get back channles without flashing it...

You could manually enter keys, which we cannot supply here. Easier option is to update. The red sticky guides at the top of this section will have all the info you could possibly need.

thanks for quick reply..my box is saying eurovox max..and there is no no. after that .how can i check what firmware it need

i bought the cables and connected the setup ..
how to set port settings in the ufl program

dwnloaded the blue dsnt worked..
tried the red one and its downloading
what to do after flashing..do i have to put any code

no m8 do a deep scan wait an hour hey presto

No after it has flashed it may say download fail but a few seconds later it will say complete so wait until it says that and OK.

All the guide I have pointed you to will help you scan for channels etc, once flashed. After you have powerscanned and updated channels, as per the sticky guides. Put it on a scrambled channel and it will update if flashed correctly.

Keep going as MTV said it is straight forward once you follow the guides and have a live feed.

after power scan ..again it says no signal..no channel is working
now wats the next step

Make sure you are carrying out scan from the main feed. If you are using a splitter, take it out for now.Is the coax cable in the cable RF in socket on the back of the box? If it is and it still says no signal take the coax out of the box and plug it directly into the back of the TV.

If you get channels 1 to 5 you have a live feed. Let us know how you get on.

yes i m using a splitter..white virgin cable/ntl what u say

connected through live feed..removed the splitter and now..again its on power scan

it is able to scan 39 channels but when i click on any channel it says no signal

Go to menu, user installation, factory reset, symbol 9652, deep scan, you should pick up 37+TP's. VM are shutting down analogue at the mo and moving all sorts of freq's so there's a lot of messin on the network so the channels may not appear with names. If you still got problems try the eurovox max v 2008 firmware, and drop the signal strength down to 73%.
