Ok , until VM stop later on you can only use a variable attenuator, you can buy one from B&Q or Maplins 5-20db plug this in the back and your cable into it, checking to signal as I said previous drop the level down to 72-73% you sould then get some channels on if you have the latest patch on after the code updates. Its gonna cost about ?8. No matter what you do it will still be the same but with it, it will be better. The good news is there is light at the end of the tunnel so you will not need it. Its hit and miss sometimes its ok mainly weekend.

You don't need keys, to much power m8 you need to drop the signal strengh to get the channels!

You can only do it with the variable at the mo, if your not going get a variable then you will need to wait until they stop, how will you know? goto menu scan all the TPs in and channels then menu again user installation you will see all frquencies with signal strengh, if they are fluctuating up and down then they are messin, if its steady on all freq's then its OK.

don't be dis-hearted its all part of the fun, you get problems and you work to solve them. I suggest you wait till the end of the month and then scan again. Its the switchover to digital its off on the 1st sept with VM.
