Exactly the same as me and a few others on here. Try watching late at night mark. I'll bet you'll find its OK. Like I say I've got an engineer round next week who i'll get to check the signal levels.

If not, I've heard that the digital switchover is going on around manchester until early september. we may find in a few days that the problem just goes away? Who knows.

As a last resort after trying everthing ( and thanks to all above for ideas and info ) Today ( Sunday) I took a trip to my mates house ( 2 miles away ) with my box to try out and low and behold everything is working, my box picks up everything ???? so that tells me that Vm has done something to the siganal come'n to me house.
So question is now how do I tell them my box (eurovox which i shudnt be run'n off there signal ) aint work'n properly ?????????????

Mark. I'm in the same boat as you. I've got an engineer coming round on Sat. Obviously not to look at the eurovox! I'm gonna say I have problems with my normal box (things will be fine when he looks) but insist he checks the signal and "do something". If that doesnt fix it then I hope to try another box.. Still no better then I give up!

                Good news for now !!
Ive had VM engineer out to check my signal ( told couple of porkies ) and he sed it was fine but he went to main exchange box and boosted my signal anyway.
So after the engineer left I plugged in my box executed a deep scan and YIPEEE its work'n.
So thanks for ideas everyone and I hope my experience can be passed on for other people to try and sort out problems with ure box or VM.

I had an engineer round today who said my signal was fine but that the work that was going on with the digital signal would stop next Sunday.

He's also coming round to upgrade my broadband so if its no better by then I guess i'll just have to insist he increase my signal strength.
