Eurovox HD Ex700 - Cant get hard drive working

i used a formatting tool called HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool v2.2.3 I found this freeware on the internet and it worked perfectly with vista

you can also format the drive by using the box it worked for me and my mate

LOL - Do I feel like an idiot - the problem was that I had inserted a USB port cable extender from the back of the box to enable ease of removing and re-connecting the drive. After weeks of head scratching it has just occured to me that might be the problem, so removed the extension, plugged in and it worked! Get in there!

Now if only it had twin tuners ;-)
