I extracted it to flashtbn with zip as it was rar and then I renamed it flash.tbn. My box only uploaded the data when I changed it to FLASH.TBN with capitals. Try that it worked for me

Managed to get the firmware on but cant get the scrambeled channels to work like sky sports espn any HD channels. Have done a full power scan but still scrambeled. Any help would be appriciated.

well have tried a fast installation a full power scan and a deep installation. I still cant view the scrambeled channels? when i plug my eurovox ex 1000 sl box in i get everything?
I am correct in thinking that if the firmware didnt load properly i would not get any channels?

Ok you said previously that u managed to get the firmware on. What did it say on lcd screen? Did it say something like flashtbn found and then go through some sort of load process. If not the firmware has not been loaded

Well I don't know what you doing wrong but I had problems kept trying and somehow got there in the end. When I did fast install I just went onto scan in it thats the blue button. Did you try changing flash.tbn into capitals FLASH.TBN and did you make sure to change it from rar to tbn?

I renamed like you said FLASH.TBN
Inserted it into the USB port on the box. =this is what the lCD message says on the front.
                    Now booting
                    USB dtected
                    Welcome to HD
                    Still channels are scrambled?

My usb pen didnt down load it onto eurobox for some reason.
Bought a new pen and it worked
It actually says writing and counts down on the LCD on the front off the box.
                      Thanks for all your help

Mine coming next week (hopefully). One thing I'm a bit unclear of though is - do I do the EZ install and EZ config before downloading the flash.tbn, OR, do I insert the usb as soon as I take it out of the box, before doing anything else?

                            Flash beforehand.

Is it flashed already? If so do a factory reset, turn the box off from the main switch for a minute, turn back on and rescan.

Factory reset will wipe your channel list if you sorted one previously.
