Hi m8,
follow these instructions

Download the firmware, drag and drop it onto your usb pen drive. Ensure your box is powered OFF before plugging the pen drive into the USB socket, then power ON and
Press> Menu >tools >Upgrade by USB, then highlight the firmware file and press RED to flash and OK to confirm.

Set mine up today no probs, dropped the firmware found on here on a usb stick.

hi can you use the rs232 lead like on my ex1000instead of mucking about with usb sticks

also my fiend has just bought a 1100 and the screen is just blank when its switched on has any 1 had the same problem

you can use both but usb much easier.

i need to know cos my friends just got a 1100 but the screens blank when swithed on. but on my 1000 its a doddle you dont need a memory stick you just plug the lead in and download the firmware which seems far more simple ?????????????????????

i have just had the EX1100USB done the download to USB drive but says no file found.Also i tested at my mates house as he has the 5100 and worked fine although scrambled channels now i plugged in at home it says no signal yet i just unplugged a working virgin box.Help please

Look here for firmware>Digital Kaos - Downloads - Firmware, choose the correct/latest firmware for your type of box.

EX1100

All the channels on my EX1100 show as scrambled. Can anyone point me in the right direction of help please.

I'm just downloading the current firmware and will give that a go. Do I have to enter any codes?
