eurovox ex1100 usb idiots guide any help?

Hi m8, you have to update the firmware first.
Here is the firmware>Digital Kaos - Downloads - EX1100USB_SEP01.abs

And heres a quick guide.
>Downloaded the firmware, drag and drop it onto your usb pen drive. Ensure your box is powered off before plugging the pen drive into the USB socket.
Press> Menu >tools >Upgrade by USB, then highlight the firmware file and press RED to flash and OK to confirm.

Just followed these instructions.............but coming up 'No Signal'.............just tried our VM signal and it is working perfectly......what do you think is wrong?

Badapple, I have just bought a box myself, the option to upgrade by usb is greyed out! any idea why?

Also, are there any instuctions to upgrade via R232
