of nothing works then try a channel upload from usb to the box download it from here, Digital Kaos - Downloads - CDF

I have had a look at an old Bolton cdf file and it gives the symbolrate as 6952

somebody else who had similar problems inputted a frequency and manually scanned it and got a few channels and then did a quick scan and got all channels
some frequencies to try (taken from old Bolton cdf) 283000 - 291000 - 323000

Finally Guys !!!!!!

As said before, I took the box to the seller and asked him to see if the original load got corrupted, and he said may be, so he reflashed it again with the latest file. Although, he couldn't test it there as he didn't had cable line, he suggested to test it some where else to see if really is my signal.

As smoggy said y'day, when i got home, I tried the symbolrate 6952 and dadddddddaaaaa, result at last. Its bit bizzare that although, normal frequency for this area is 6887, all my channels came on 6952.

Well, soon as all the channels came though, got it dumbped on usb, and removed all the dodgy channels and reload again and its going well now, coz, its for my relative who is way happier than I am.

PS: Still mystry about 6952 !!! I will upload the UDF file on the forum tonite and I'm no geek but would try to create a more user friendly channel editor (somewhat better then the basic one)

good to see your sorted, doesn't matter how you get there as long you do
