As smoggy directed you, it is the easiest box I have ever flashed and also one of the best by a long way for what it is.

All channels that are carried by your provider, if you are in the UK. In Ireland it will open up to Nagra 2 as per some other closed source boxes.

              As per the readme:

              EX6000SD 1st Public release

There are 3 ways to load this firmware:

              1) Easiest is to rename the .stb file to KURO2 and put it on the root of a USB drive/stick, the box will detect the firmware and update automatically.

              2) Put in the root of a USB device and insert into box, on power up the box will detect the drive, press Menu, then from UTILS "Download", enter the PIN (0000), select the file and Press OK to load..

              3) Use the RS232 loader with the box connected to a PC with a null-modem cable.

              NOTE:
Do a factory reset and then scan for channels.

I used the first method and it took about 10 seconds to flash.

Method one will autoflash, (detect bin at boot), method 2 you manually select the flash file.

Both methods result in the same thing....... a flashed box One which is quite good as said.

Using favs, I press FAV or OK on RC and select with < or > button on RC. Then after selecting the required group select the channel you want and press OK.

Sounds like you are doing it the same way so should be working?
