Yes, did you do a factory reset after flash then select UK and scan on your provider SR?

Hi all. Im new here and need help please.

I purchased a new EX6000SD yesterday, plugged it in and done powerscan. I got 341 channels but most of them seem to be scrambled. after some research I beleive that my box needs flashing.

I have downloaded the bigmaq toolbar and downloaded the file KURO2_202p_2009 1103 onto desktop which I can transfer to my USB pen.

I have read posts about flashing the Eurovox EX6000SD and understand how to do it. I was just wondering if I need to do anything with the file I downloaded as it is in WINrar format or can I just plug it into my box and go through the updating process.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

          Hi and welcome to DK

the file will first need to be extracted using a program like winrar.
when the file is extracted it will have the name KURO2_202p_20091103.stb this file needs to be renamed to KURO2.stb and put onto your pen drive

No problems and I have tried quite a few drives. It looks like your pen drive as you have the same problem with your other box.

Try formatting it and see if it improves. If not try another drive.

With your USB drive plugged in go to Menu, along to Utils, down to download, press ok, pin 0000 press Green for NDF upload, it will then write it to your external storage. To download it back to your box do the same but instead of pressing green highlight the NDF saved to C and press ok, box will reboot, done.

Thanks for the reply guys. I managed to sort the channel out buy flashing my box but now I have another problem.
I was watching one of the movie channels last night and it suddenly went off and channel scrambled message came up again. will I need to do another power scan or re install the KURO2 file or will it just update itsself and sort itself out?
