HELP !!! - Eurovox EX1100 USB

I have just bought a Eurovox EX 1100 USB. It appears to be working well except most (90%+) are scrambled with a $ sign next to them so i cannot get them. Does anybody know how to get these channels or have a idiots guide. Thanx VINNY

you will need to flash it with the latest firmware - it's available in the downloads section

put the abs file onto usb stick, go into the menu, tools then upgrade by usb stick.

no other software is needed, just a usb pen drive.

put the downloaded abs file onto the pen drive, then go into the tools section as I explained and choose the option to upgrade from usb - it will then update the firmware by itself.

When you're finished do a factory reset and then do a powerscan. Should be OK from there

thanks for all your help !!! you are a star all channels working , i have not done a factory reset only because i had a dreambox and did one and it wiped the whole box to a empy shell , so shall i still do a factory reset on the eurovox then a power scan will it be ok

if all the channels are working then don't bother with the factory reset! It's just a lot of the time it doesn't work if you don't do the reset. Glad you got sorted!

its all down to you its working so thanks mate , the only problem i have now is not a major one but just a i carnt get any info on whats on , the now and next onlyworks on some of the channels and the epg is almost empty so u never know what films are on or on that day , is there anything i can do ???

usually just takes a short while to load up after it's switched on. Have you checked the time and date are correct in the settings? That could affect it if its way out. Other than that I wouldn't know I'm afraid.

just checked a few other posts aand it seems that epg problems are common with your box. I'm afraid you'll probably have to wait until new firmware comes out. So it looks llike you might have to fork out for the radio times for the time being!

scrambled channels

hi, we have tryed all of the above and we still got scrambled channels, its not pickin the data up of the usb stick. thanx

go into windows and format it to FAT32 if poss, if not just FAT should work. Then put the file on and you should be ok
