ALMOST WENT AND BOUGHT A NEW BOX FROM EBAY!
PHEWWWW, luckily i popped into ere and seen its a national disaster goin on.

does this mean im gnna hav to rescan for all the channels again bloody vm vermin!!!!!!!!!!

People must stop panicing and stop reseting your boxes or playing around with them or you will end up needing to install the firmware again . get a grip
I spoke to some guy in india who said it was thier problem and said it should be up and running at 10.30 tonight . and then i asked him about this card that supposably they sent out where is mine.he said it was in the post. they dont really know whats going on over their in india only what they get told from the chiefs .they could be out to get people. who nows well lets hope its fine .

How could another box solve this problem when its just a technical issue?

Got to bed for the night and get up and try a scan again.

Hey, i am in south Birmingham and my starview 5 went off around 6pm. All my mates with a proper virmin say there's are off too. All we can do is wait for vermin to fix it!

I live in the wolverhampton area ad my box has just gone off and no channels are working. I hae done a scan but still no joy. Can any one help me please.

Cant see this inconvenionce forcing people back to sky.
Try getting channels from sky like you do cable.

You shit enough bricks to build a house if you seen how technical it can be.

Unless that is you mean paying the proper fees to watch all the channels then thats a different story.

I live in birmingham and I couldn't see any pay channels. I deleted all channels and installed all the ones that are available.... but could view only the freeview ones.. tried it like a million times.. anybody know why ?? Help plzz?

there are quite a few areas went down yesterday , maybe vm are doing some upgrades again.

first thing to do is check the vm web site for any maintenance work being carried out.

if you still cant see any info you want , wait between 2-24 hours and try again.

DONT PANIC as most people do after losing a service , when there is some simple answer to it..

You will know when the shit hits the fan,, as the forum will be unindated with posts and problems..
