Have done deep scan and got channels but cant locate sports in the fav section also how do i get to show all channels in alphabetical order

not suer what you mean , have you got the channels but cant put them in favs ? or dont you get them after you deep scan ? if the latter then do a factory reset delete all channels then deep scan (without any splitters ) on the symbole rate for your area , you will have to redo your favs so have a look in downloads for a cdf for your area.

press menu/channel manager/ enter code 0000 then press red button twice to sort into alphabetical order.

Have the box power switched OFF, then run the software, hit download and switch power ON when message comes.

still no joy, even when power off, click download , just says waiting for responce ?

What com port are you using? It should be 1,2,or 3.
Go into device manager of PC and check. try 1,2,or 3 one will work.

com 3 , the only one that lets me, but keeps leaving me on that window. waiting.. sorry to be a pain?

What cable are you using, null modem on its own or with a USB adaptor?
Have you tried changing com port. Try on com port 1.

using usb to my lap top, connected that to female null cable, which connects to box. you know com 1,2,3 ..which end is that, mt usb port? or box? just tried different port on usb

just checking.. plugged in both box and lap top, box is off ,click download ,window opens com 3 start, click start, another window boot mode, select com 1,2 or 3 . click ok, window opens firmware download version 2.00 waiting for reponse from receiver? is this right what im doing?
