Lost a lot af channels in Birmingham

I have lost quite a few channels in Brum.Most movie channels,nat geo,sky arts,comedy central+,SSnews maybe more.When I manually rescan It finds different channels in the frequencies of the ones I am looking for.If I rescan every frequency it still does not find these channels.Any advice?

i'm having the same problem.... i have re-flashed but still no luck..

i'm not from there , but have ye tried a deepscan ? or is it a cable problem in the area any one ring the provider or is it the end

i've got two boxes, i have one in the front room and one in the back... the one in the back (dbox2) works ok its just the one in front room (dm500c) ....

how bizaare......

Thanks for the reply,I didn't want to try deepscan as I would loose my channel list.I think I have my list saved somewhere,when I find it I'll probably try that.

have you put the symbol rate in before you do the scan 6.887 or 6.952 for whichver your area is

have done it with fast scan on and off... still no luck.

All channels are gone 4ever

If you have lost your channels they have gone and there is nothing you can do about it, YET.
Cable was on Nagra 2, it is now on Nagra 3 and up to now no one has cracked it.

Hi folks Im feeling quite sick reading all these posts i just received a eurovox box yesterday, every channel is scrambled even the free view one's, i live in south west Glasgow.
Take it im about 4 years late.

you can still get the channels m8 its just that VM will roll out N3 shortly and render your box ''oot the geme'' if you know what i mean.....factory reset then scan again for channels

channels are fine in glasgow mate and still no sign of new nag3 cards from virgin media. make sure your box has got the latest firmware for your model on it from this site. set symbol rate at 6887 and then deep scan to get all the channells. if its a new box its probably got no firmware on it, you need to put this on yourself in order for the box to unscramble the channels and tune into them.

if the box in the back room is working then this is not nag 3. the new encryption system nag 3 will brand all eurovoxes dreamboxes etc obsolete and only work on official vm boxes, ie the ones you pay for.

i beg to differ m8 i live in glasgow and lost quite a few channels today one of whitch was bbc1 scotland there was 34 in all there is 4 new tp thay are 251,000. 259,000 .267,000 and 275,000
