eurovox ex5000 pvr ( nightmare )

i have a eurovox ex5000 pvr i lost all my channels 2 weeks ago ive try every thing i can think of ...factory setting deleted all channels then a deep scan but still no joy . can someone help me pls and tell me what to do ,iam pulling my hair out .

Hi m8, has the box got the latest firmware installed or were you inputting cod*s manually?
Are you getting any FTA channels?

are you definitly getting a signal from your vm feed. you may have to check this by getting an official vm box and plugging it into your cable feed.

i dont know what a vm feed is but i all so have a starview box which is working ok from the same cable if thats what you mean . sorry if thats the same thing

If your starview box is picking up channels than that menas there is signal and your feed is live.

Just check if you have the latest firmware installed on box.
menu>config>system info>ok, tell us what info is there.

free to air channels, like bbc, itv chan 4/5.
If you are not getting any channels, you may need to update firmware or input latest cod*s manually.

Your firmware is out of date m8, load this to your box
>Digital Kaos - Downloads - UFL_EX5000PVR_24-02-09_DarX
Then do a deep scan using the correct symbol rate for your area/provider.

Hi m8, Your symbol rate will be 6.887 or 6.952. Try both one at a time and the one that picks up most channels will be it.
(Dont forget to do clear data/factory reset before a scan.)
