as you do not state what area of the country you are in as to wheather or not nagra 3 has been brought in you may just need to update the firmware. read the red stickies at the top of this section on updating your box.

Crap, so that's why my Eurovox EX7000 HD has limited channels (with scrambled ones) as well. With me I've been using Starview 4 (has a USB port) and that was working perfectly fine until a few weeks ago, I just need to put that that 1.12 update on and it should start working properly, but still with the box the reason I haven't done it straight away since it didn't take away any channels that I go on (I mainly go on BBC and ITV and that's it, sometimes I go on other channels like E4 although not at the moment since my favourite program Misfits is finished, I'm waiting for the second series).

Hi m8, think Glasgow in not N3 yet, its VM doing upgrade work and changing channel frequencies, so just do a clear data/factory reset and a full scan, this will usually bring lost channels back.

You need to make sure you have the latest firmware installed.
Scan late at night or eary morming without any splitters on line.
Keep scanning at different times m8, they will come back.

                        Wouldn't that reset the firm-ware?

Surely you'd need to re-flash and then scan???

No m8, a factory reset will not delete the firmware. It will delete channel data and TV settings and you will not need to re-flash you box.

Why do you want to re-set the firmware?
If you have the latest firmware installed, then thats all you need.
If you have missing channels, you need to go into menu system and do a clear data/factory reset and perform a full scan.

***Just seen another one of your posts, are you in a N3 area???
