ex500 NO SIGNAL...HELP!!!

I have had ex500 working for about 6 months and suddenly i have lost all channels and when i attempt to do a fast install, no transponders are found. I believe i need to 'flash' it and have ordered the null modem cable. Could anyone please spare a few seconds to explain what i need to do when i get the cable???? many thanks

before we go any further, where are you. new encryption may be in place in your area, nagra 3, this means no fix. if we know where you are, may save a lot of time.

Ilford is now nagra3 encrypted your box and any other non original box will not work, no fix and not likely to be, sorry.

sorry to sound stupid, but if this nagra 3 is set in my area, is that the end of free telly??? Does anyone have any alternatives so i dont have to go back to sky and pay for box office etc???

I had exact same problem all i done was deleted all channels and search for them again. They all came back as the channel frequenceys had changed. (I'm just a noob but this worked for me).
