      Com problem

      Hi
I have followed your instructions but when I go to down load my computer is saying that the usb adapter is connected to com 6 no matter which port I put it in. Can you give me any advice to rectify this?

im taking it its a eurovox u have ? if so read here---> Eurovox if not post in relevent forum, the peeps need to know exactly what box u have to help, r u getting any channels at all ?, have u flashed it with newfirmware ? have u got right cables for flashing ? etc, u need to have a good read in the relevent forum first to familiarise yourself with your box in order to get it sorted, the more info u can give us the better.

hi everyone, I have followed the instructions and can not find any com ports in device manager. Why is that?
I also have bout a usb to 9pin female rs232 and all that comes up when i press download is COM 3 and nothing else after this.
After a while on the UFL it comes up with no COM available or something

Can anyone give me any links to the cheapest sites that I can buy the null modem cable and usb to null modem adaptor.
I have looked at Ebay but not sure if I would be buying the proper cable.

                              I know I'm thick.......but I'm learning!

                              Very much appreciated

I bet your all thinking.....if she can't even buy the proper cables how is she going to get on flashing the box
