Does eurovx 30/11/08 firmware work?

hi folks does anyone know this new firmware work on eurovox max cheers

downloaded the eurovox max V firmware connected my box to pc via a rs232 cable
switched the box on and run the firmware when complete plugged it back to tv
done a new scan after finding all the channels put it on sly spot 1 and left it
for about 5 minutes and _ _ _ WALLA _ _ all working.

It worked fine for me.Except that I didn't back up my favs DOH!

Are you sure you are using a null modem cable?

Volume not working

Hi i flashed my max v with the updated software lastnite but for some reason my volume wont go up or down but the on screen display shows it going up and down ,
also it didnt auto update this morning when the codes rolled any idea?

Why don't you download it and try like everyone else does intead of asking stupid questions? I'm sometimes almost lost for words at the questions asked by the 1 post wonders! Most of us accept that someone has had to solve this problem and take the trouble to post it here for us all to use. Why would they bother if it did not work?

hi, i downloaded and installed on wednesday and is still working fine, hope this is the one

i have mine done the same way as (cypriotsolja) great. lost my favs to.

hi, it works for me. had to try the upload 3 or 4 times to the box but thats usual. a friend told me once he tried one box 12 times.
not sure if the upload failed is true or not but waited for the upload complete before trying it out fully.

i now have about 70 more channels than before.

back up your channel data first unless you like the favourites manager interface.
