    with a big enough dish, you can get quite a few free channels. if you mean sly, you're looking at c/s

        if theres a fix on the dreambox's then it will be the same fix for the openmedia 500cs box,
        like i said, its a dm500c and dm500s both together mate,

            well if you did go for a starview/eurovox/kryptview then its good in the sense where its a simple,
            plug and play,
            apart from the headache of getting my openmedia box up and running its been a treat,
            its just a matter of what you want mate!
            at the end of the day its about watching tv isnt it!

                well you got a point mate,
                but its user friendly for a newbie thats my point!

                p.s trevor to change viewing from sat to cable or cable from sat,
                you have to totally power down and then flick a switch at the back of the box!
                (i think thats how you do it, i've only ever had it on cable so haven't had to change it to sat!)
