hi got box downstairs normal virgin with card, but then upstairs i have a normal virgin box in 1 room, internet in another and a arnet box in mine, trouble is i am always havin problems with whichever box goes in my room. could it just be the lead from the splitter to the box is not as good as the ones virgin supply us with, all boxes and internet work good in every room except mine

It might be a loose connection in the splitter or maybe a bad f connector. Check all connectors are snug

done that, will just go and by new lead, see how that goes.Comment

Are the leads on the same splitter ? The signal might be reduced because of this. Try taking one of the boxes out and see if it makes a difference. You may need a signal booster. If your going to buy new cable might as well cut the ends off the one you got and try new connectors first and see if that helps

bulldog, i keep having problems tryin to put firmware on box myself, so have to keep takin box to computer fair. but on wed they only put 281108 on it and am havin problems with my sports channels, any idea if anywer downloads it for u, i will payComment

yeh all leads of same splitter, but the leads virgin installed are bigger fatter than the 1 i installed, hoping its just that. if not will go for the signal booster. cheers mateComment

Is it just sports channels m8 or all premium channels. What problems are you having flashing firmware. There is a guide to download in the downloads section and all the latest firmware
