Which Combo box if any

I used to have The Box USB until it turned into a brick after N3 upgrade.
I'm looking for a reliable Combo box but not sure where to post should it be in Cable section or Satelite section.

Are there any boxes that can cope with N3 I have VM cable and a 80cm satelite dish which can get all Sly channels and more.

I've herad the way to go forward is some kind of combo box with a LAN connection does the Kryptview have dual inputs.

you wont find any combo box that does satellite and cable , apart from the freebie cable channels

the only 2 that work on cable using ethernet connections are the sv7 and krypt a780 ( there are older boxes that work with addons etc )

both need the internet , the sv6 and sv7 is extra for the service too

the HD box that did work is the sv combo , but thats used on sat only now

no the krypt doesnt have dual inputs , nor the sv7

no box can cope with n3 unless you use an ethernet connection for cs

Does the Kryptview need anything else other than LAN connection i.e do I have to pay a subscription to use it as well?

I've heard Sly don't use N3 so would I be better looking for a satelite receiver and use the 80cm Ross Dish feed I can pick up Astra and a few others as well or does that still involve subscrining on top of price of the receiver.

kv just needs lan and connection to cable network.. no subs

sly dont use n3 no, they use nds encryption, and YES u would be better with a sat system.. more than likely a sub involved with sat
