Help needed for cable newbie

    I did buy the quad plus last week and am very happy with it. I knew the number of fta channels I would receive on cable but tbh I receive much more fta from my terrestrial aerial so that wasn't the reason I chose the quad
    TRY DROPBOX 2GB + 500mb FREE ONLINE STORAGE with public sharing and 500mb for me

      I do not have a Terrestrial aerial since the storms last year and I could not see the point of getting it put back up seeing I have sat & virmin

        what happens if your Virmin goes off or your Sat receiver breaks, always wise to have a backup

          I can see your logic digicon about a back up but I have 3 sat receivers already if you count my old Blade Combo

            That wasn't digicon's point. What I thought he meant was if your dish/lnb gets damaged or won't matter how many receivers you have none of them will work and if tinternet his down you will only have fta anyway and bear in mind fta is different from freeview in terms of channels you receive.
