I'm showing no signal strength no matter what I do. I take it you don't have to switch between cable and sat other than by changing one lead for the other? The sat works fine.

If you are not receiving any signal and you are using the correct FW + Freq/QAM the I suggest sending it back and explain. I think what has been suggested for you to do by all should have sorted your problem. Is your cable feed live ? how do you know ?

Yeah the feed works in my dm500c. I now know why it isn't working (after two nights!). Hopefully this will help someone. I had the cable feed attached to the sat connection. I just assumed that the rf connection was for a digital aerial. Sorry for wasting everyone's time and thanks for all the responses.

What are you're setting mate for cable, I'm also in Belfast but not picking anything up with combo, I have the sat side sorted but nothing with cable. My dm500c works fine and so does my Internet so I know I've a live connection.

All sorted, one question, are you getting the events channels?...I'm only getting that Live events channel page, doesn't show PPV

I'll send you a link tomorrow I'm not at my PC. Although your box should come preflashed with firmware?

in the engineers menu, if I remember rightly ,power off the TIVO then hold up/down arrows in on the box then turn power on and keep the arrows pressed in till the engineers page appears. Some say "OOoo don't go in there , it's a dark dark place !they know you've been in there" but if you just wan't channel freqs try this;-

                        On the remote press :-

Home > help and settings > systems info > diagnostics,

and scroll down to find the frequency for that particular channel,

Then do a single frequency scan on the amiko.
