Dm800HD Sat box.

Factory reset.
Replace Sat tuner for new Cable Hd tuner
Installed dvbsnoop
Installed AutoBowKs C2
Installed local service file C2 ( North west )
rebooted


Now here's the issue not getting any chanells i.e bbc 1 to enable me to put on chan to use autoBowKs. Does this point to an iffy new tuner or have I missed something?

Have a look here m8 I had the same problem******* if you look at the images at the bottom images it gives you tuner set up I tried everything to get channels until I just copied the tuner set up just replace your Net ID for your area and frequency mine for Manchester is 171mhz hope this helps. I used autobouquet maker as this has virgin uk in settings.

silly question maybe have you put your net id in before doing an autobouquets maker scan. NetId - 40965 (a005) - Knowsley 1
NetId - 40966 (a006) - Knowsley 2

Am I reading this wrong.

I thought I had to have it selected to a current channel i.e BBc 1 , with Dvbsnoop installed before using auto bowkS?

Have you managed to sort it yet m8 if not might have a solution might work as I kept scanning over and over again getting no channels and every time I put the correct frequency in I got no channels.

Do a automatic scan in frequency put 466 do scan should show on screen I believe trying to find frequency you have to watch the screen it should say on most frequency failed but on about four frequency's it should say frequency ok write them down when finished it should scan after if no channels found then do another automatic scan but put each frequency in and do a AUTOMATIC scan again if no channels found put the next frequency in and try that and so on hopefully you should get channels found on one of them if you get a frequency that is say 170.5 you can enter 171 if you cant enter 170.5.


this worked for me as for some reason the frequency was out.


some people will say the normal scan should put the frequency in and find the channels but mine would not I am no expert but it worked for me.

and yes I done a network scan and net id correct but this is the only way I could get my channels.

Just updated my image and scans perfectly now and get all channels no problem.

I am using the vix image appolo 15 now had problems with update 12 and 13 scanning cable for some reason read on another forum some were having the same.
