N3 Irl when will it happen?

well you can say working on n3 now with there own hd boxes for the new hd channels that were added,who knows about the rest?

Looks like it might have started already, all sky sports channels gone in Dublin this morning.

and gone in waterford cable, sky sports1 and a few others went off yesterday during the liverpool match but came back after 15 mins or so, so maybe they come back again, but obviously some tinkering going on.

Well i have checked and done a rescan and the sports channels seem to be only broadcasting on the n3 stream

for now evastar is correct, channels only showing with 1802 stream, including sports and espn and setanta , need to be patient and hope its a temp testing or something for now or its no sport for now im afraid.

Unfortunately you may have lost your sports,but if you look on the bright side then you still have the rest of your channels. IMO,you may lose sky movies at Christmas time,but by then your receiver will have paid for itself

The movie channels went just a few weeks after the sports last time, as far as i recall. And they will probably be quicker this time, as they don't have to send out new cards etc.

Hopefully satman is right, and they are just testing.

Hopefully satman is right.How long did it take last time for all channels to go-were you at least left with FTA channels? Oh and how long has it been since n2 was implemented? I know these are maybe stupid questions,but it would be nice to know the process/time taken when we,in the UK move on to a better encryption?

N2 was around february or march i think took about six weeks for all the channels to go.

But it sounds like the movie channels are gone now, took about 3 hours

The difference is they had to send out new cards and stuff last time, they don't have to do anything like that this time.
