Ok the area i am in is actually ex cable an wireless, but then went to ntl now vm, try scanning for ex c&w or where are you located?

Can you scan by cable co.? ie, ntl, telewest, ex c&w ect. Try scanning by each 1, if nothing on any of them, not even free to air, could be bad box, flash or cabling

ok firmware needed v1341 for new tuner or no channels found,and coaxial has to go to cable input or no signal will appear.always scan from direct feed,do a factory reset to make sure no channels are stored.scan correct provider and you will see channels appear in lists,and then emu to on.menu-system info-ok1004 key emu to on,exit out simple

So what exactly are you getting on the tv?

Also does another box work from the line where the box is plugged in?

please state what firmware is on box and it is all black yes?did you have box working with channels.
