    Zgemma H1 noob

    Hi All,

Just bought myself a Zgemma H1. Is there a noobs guide that'll help me get set up from start to finish? I have cable line (if that helps). I tried reading 1 guide but at the start it was completely different. I didn't get a setup wizard, it just came straight onto ATV 5.1 and that was it.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

        Sounds likes your box failed to start the setup wizard and just boot into the OpenAtv screen, easiest way to sort this out would be to reflash the box, get the image here;

        1. On PC format USB drive to FAT32 (quick)
        2. Unzip ‘openatv-5.1-zgemmash1-20151016_usb.zip’ image
        3. Transfer ‘zgemma’ folder to root of USB drive
        4. Insert USB into SAT box and Power on.
        5. Once ‘USB’ displayed on Box a quick press and release ‘standby’ button on box, this will then display ‘FLASH’
        6. Leave box, it should take 5 mins to flash then it will auto boot into setup wizard

Then follow the guide you have, good thing about doing this is it will give you the latest image for you box, can't help you any more as I have a Zgemma 2s box so haven't a clue about cable Network ID, QAM settings or symbol rates.

What image are you using ie OpenAtv or OpenVix? and are you using both cable and satellite on the H1?

To Backup your image on OpenATV 5.1:

Blue Button - Software Manager - Complete Backup

                  Job done

martin035 I am at the moment reading your your post in Help me,I'm new in sat section( post 26)

I take it it's the same on the Zgemma H1 as the 2s with the openatv 5.1 image

                          Yes, but
                          1. Get the H1 image from here, highest date the latest; http://images2.mynonpublic.com/opena...open=zgemmash1
                          2. Tuner B needs to be configured to cable with relevant Network ID, QAM and symbol rate.
                          3. Autobouquetsmaker needs to be configured for Cable as well as Satellite.
                          4. Crossepg needs to be configured for Cable as well as Satellite.

                          All the rest is generic.

I haven't got Cable, so can't really help anymore with the cable side of things.

                            Hi Martin,

I can't seem to find crossepg on the plugin section. Do you have a link for the ipk? Sorry if I can't ask that.

                            Thanks
