The virgin box I have is a couple of years old, samsung smt-2110c on it . They just sent new smart card goes straight in. Starview super still picks up about 10 channels inc. one playboy. and bbc sport ones. Just put old card in . instant message saying looks like you put old card in! Things move on . It was good while it lasted. Lets hope the rest of you get a lot longer than Leeds.

the fix is already there which is why i was hoping i had the correct card

The chip on my old ntl card is the same as your photo. To complicate matters old card also says nagra id na-04 on it. Maybe the 04 refers to Leeds area.

mine says nag 02!!! had it two years,, west mids

Why dom't you just boot into engineers menu with box not connected to stream and get card details from card page.

Don't worry about c/s with nagra3. I have nagra3 card on c/s now working perect. Your problem is getting RSA key.

Don't get your hopes up, this is a Polsat Nagra3 card. I had the RSA extracted from the module. I don't if anyone in Ireland has had their cable box done with success. Last time I heard the RSA key could not be found.

Looking through a load of threads is the gist of this that nag3, which is likely to be in operation in a month or two, makes eurovox boxes obselete. So i should not purchase one under no circumstances. Thanks BL85 newbie.

depends m8 no guarantees how long it will take its a matter of just balancing the cost against the cost of the tv package if you get 3 months its payed for itself it may go longer no one knows for sure


you could also get a week then it would be a waste but it will still work as a freeview box so all wont be lost

I want to know where all the members are, that said this was not going to happen for ages because Vermin media are skint ! I can remember some well respected members stating this fact....Its a good job i sold mine last June, and i then sold my Mother in laws on Ebay just before Xmas.....Oh life can sometimes be good to me...

I don't if anyone in Ireland has had their cable box done with success. Last time I heard the RSA key could not be found.

I've read the rsa key is still there within the boxes but its scattered making it difficult to find all the required info. Kudelski have deliberately done this to stop people sharing the cards of the providers who have recently switched over to N3 or are about to.

correction red, u wont even get all the freeview channels
