for the last 2 days vm have moved channels around in nottingham, i can get them back but prob wont for much longer, wonder if they will do the same today ? no sign of a new card yet

I noticed the same thing over the past few days.
First it was the kids chans, then film 4, e4 etc, and today I've noticed the music chans need re-scanned as smash hits and a few others are scrambled. I'm in central Scotland so a fair bit away and no letters or cards or info been sent to me apart from the 2 month free v+ offer. Also just as a wee bit info incase anyone didn't know - if u sign up to sky you can only get the HD box as your main box now, they have stopped sky+ and standard sky unless it's for a multiroom sub. Got it in black and White from sky in work yesterday with all the new p.o.s

I sold mine for ?100, it was a EX5000 with a 120gig HDD inside it. I saw what was coming and replaced mine for a 2nd Linux based satellite receiver that actually gets me thousands more channels than the Eurovox, and i get to watch saturday afternoon 3pm footy off the satellite STB as well.....that is something the Eurovox never did. I got my moneys worth out of the Eurovox as we had it for 12 months and still managed to sell it for ?100. So basically it cost me ?40 for 12 months viewing ( as i paid about ?140 for the Exsooo with a HDD ) So you cannot possibly think i am onto a loser here.....Are you going to be of the hardcore cable box users who sits there waiting for the screen to go blank ? If you are, why ? All you will end up with is a expensive paperweight. Within the next 6 months the satellite STB scene will explode into life, and there will be so many ex Cable users wanting to explore the linux based STB's out there. Believe me if you can sell your box and get into Satellite tv before there is thousands of noobs asking the very same questions over & over again......" What is C/S, and can anyone explain CCcam "....

Last sold a Dreambox 500c for ?60 odd in late November, once the rumours started on the new N3 rollout that was the end game!

Waiting until we get an house before exploring the satellite route as can't get dishes on rented apartment unfortunately!

if you want cheap calls try Vonage they are a Canadian company i have used them for years costs me about six pounds a month all call to land lines are included plus i have family in canada and italy so calls to them are free as well mobile calls are cheaper also you dont have to have your local dial code you can pick any you want.
its a monthly contract so you can cancel anytime they supply the equipment you need and they are super polite if you have any problems not like most tech centers in the uk
