Informed post - I looked at the pairing methods some time ago and its kewl peeps are lookin at it now.

The script my good friend on another forum posted will indeed give you the pairing method - as been said each box can be diff so DT08 may not be the only method.

However once we have the method we can then look to the RSA to asemble our code; other things like cmd buffer returns which are held to eliminate as much as poss card processor access also needs to be looked at.

I am sure then that any box with Ethernet or comms and a interface can run cs on a ROM180. We can alter pairing method to box or even perhaps look at the 1st byte ret and jmp via sub in our emu.

However this is not a hack and we are far better off looking to exploit the ROM via glitch and attempted dump ( but we have to remember its not as simple as zero one set of BC tables with a payload) ; so other forms of exploit may need to be looked at to gain access to Keys and code.

      Regards

      Spark

PS Cheers for those that know me from other places voicing up

        DreamMedia N3 info

Sent the following e-mail to Dream Media:
        Sir,
I have been thinking of buying a cable box and yours come highly recommended but, in researching the options, I discover that some of the cable providers are about to introduce a new encryption scheme called Nagra 3.
From what I can gather from the Internet, there is a body of opinion that states categorically that your boxes, and others, will be rendered useless once Nagra is implemented. Any information you could provide on the viability of your boxes post-Nagra would be appreciated and would assist me in making a decision.
        Thanks,

        The response I received was:
Thank you for your interest in our products.
Using a PayTv Smartcard is possible in combination with a Ci Modul only.
Your retailer will inform you about the correct modul for your purposes.
For further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Does this mean anything to anyone??
        Keep dreamin'
