Best Deal You have been offered By Sky Or Virgin ?

    I am currently on the 3 for ?30.00 TV,Broadband,Telephone.

However I am now testing the water and getting ready to pay for the full package, obviously the only reason is because Nagra 3 will soon dictate I have too.

My only viewing interest really is the football Sky Sports, ESPN etc and all the documentaries.

What has been the best deal any of you have been offered either by Sky or Virgin ?, any feedback will help me know what is the best deal I can hope to negotiate over the phone,

Was pig sick I missed out on the recent half price Sky for a year deal for employees families that some of my mates managed to pull off with no questions asked ,(lucky sods)

Just signed up to sky, install in 4 days which is quick! Full package Inc sports and movies, phone and bband + ?50 m and s voucher, free box, free bt line install, wireless router and install. ?55 per month.

Will just run the vm cable into the bedroom until the cards come.

Haven't rang cancellations yet but I doubt they'll beat it for price.

We are on vermin and pay ?21.99 for basic tv package broadband and phone. but at the end of the day we are paying to watch about 15 minutes of adverts every hour and loads of repeats. I dont thinks its good value for money anymore but options are limited at the moment.

Are you seriously saying that you've already signed for Sky, without first checking what VM will quote for a similar bundle?

Yes, you are saying that. Words fail me... After 5 or more years of pinching free premium telly off cable, is there no Customer / Brand Loyalty left in this ~~~~ing world?

I think some people are not telling the full story.
The best thing is to go online and chose what you want from sly and vermin and compare the prices. Tv phone broadband packages are slightly dearer with sly and broadband is not as fast. Where you will see he difference is when you want an extra box or the HD package with sly. This bumps the price by another ?20 a month but with vermin the extra box will only cost ?5 a month. HD is free with virmin but there is less HD choice.
When you have made a choice give them a call to try and negotiate an discounts.

Sly are offering ex customers 12 months for half price ?24

hi i think sky the way to go but keep an eye on what you get they got loads of issues at the mo
the new sky+ box has got software issues that causes lip sink errors can go out by 3-4 secs sometimes and the new hd box cant support a second rf very well and causes bad picture

Brand loyalty? Lol.... ARE you being serious? More to the point.

if by a miracle vm do offer a better package then I have 8 days to cancel the sky package.

Don't get clubcard points with vm but I could with sky!
