    agreed dreambox screwed rescan works sometimes b ham area ,is there any help......any hope ? ?

        Help for Newbie in Brum

        Hi, new to this web site. I have been reading majority of posts re: N3 switch & issues over the last 24hrs with signals.

        Has the N3 switch happened in the last 24hrs? or are VM just changing the programme signals?

        I have a thebox super usb V1.07 software - does this also need to be updated - help appreciated.

            well got one d box working but my ma round the corner in brom same img wont rescan picks up then says channels removed?? weird

                Delete the services.xml file then try scanning.

                    thanx mate from the setup menu? wheres it located and what do i use to delete it bouqet editor i dont rekon! possibly file mode? let me know m8 u seem in the know.actually all indications point to n3 coming soon with no fix pm me if ure in the know in the central area

                    glad i jumped on a usefull source of info from decent likeminded techheadz!

                        to anyone who's starview usb has gone down you really need to get v1.12 firmware.our box had gone down we tried everything and this is the only thing that worked.when re-scanning you will get all the channels doubled,just do the edit and delete thing and everything will be cushty(for the time being)

                            mine went down, simple rescan and hey presto!!!i am a vm customer so when i get my new card then i'll know the time has come :-(

                                You can ether use tuxbox commander via the blue button menu or use a ftp program like flashfxp to delete the file then do a scan.
