hi m8 ok there is a certan chip u have to lift blank re programm with ur area net id, now iam not sure wich one it is on that modal so i will av a dig round and let u know..

hi m8 been thinking chip lifting setting with fun/atmega is not for the faint hearted there is a lot to it, ie j tag card programmers and so on, wot i would do is buy a cheap 2110c off fleabay there only about a tenner, coz that box will work in a t/w area without any messing with, think it over and let me know wot u wont to do....

yes see what you mean chris i am in telewest area but the box is ntl if that makes any differents

hi m8 yes it makes a big differance ntl boxes r just not made for t/w area,s is it just free view ur after with that box? if so u may be better off doin the fun/atmega net settin..

yes mate just want to view freview channels or free to air dont want it chipped to recieve pay channels

thanks for all you heklp mate i have learnt a thing or to on this journey but going to call it a day as i only even wanted it as a free view box and the programmers and card are working out to much for what i want thanks again mate your a star
