Yes & No! - Nag3 will be cracked but I am sure Nag developers will have Nag4 waiting in the background. Box manufacturers will develop powerful new PC based STBs to process the latest encryption codes & to satisfy the enthusiasts market. Sly and Vermin will also need to develop new boxes to stay ahead of the game & keep up with encryption technology

I think no! not that it matters coz i hav'nt a clue about anything other than flashing my own hd soon to be dead ex7000, I've got the film an kids stuff sorted when it goes but stuck for sport an i don't wanna start paying so i'm ask all you people to suggest places to watch the sport, decent sites though not ones that crash all the time! ant ideas?

im going with a yes purely on the basis of never is a long time and why would anyone bring nagra 4 out if nagra 3 is unbreakable

nagra4 is just an exstention of nagra3, n4 will be in place before n3 is cracked...

I think that vermin have been a bit bullied to roll out nag3 by sly, who with there offer codes, deals and extras are cashing in on vermins misfortune, the main problem is the vermin "chipped boxes" every dog and his dad has one and I think if a crack was created then as long as the chipped boxes were elimated then possibly both vermin and sly would turn a blind eye to us....chuck

I think It'll be cracked, probably with Vermins help.
I know a plenty who are only with Virmin for there internet so they can get free TV. So there going to be loosing a lot of customers when they can't get TV anymore.

It don't bother me to much as I'm not a sports fan so nothing I watch really needs to be live. I'll just stream off the internet everything I want to watch a couple of days late.

Probably already has been , it's been made by a human and will be hacked (or has been) by one ! . The prob we've got is that Rupert Murdoch will give the person who does it a fortune to protect his empire , so for now we wait ! .
Until what we've enjoyed free for years will available again !

well if i was smart and cracked it, i'd wait until vermin had spent all it's money rolling it out before i released it.

i'm sure some geek will realise he works somewhere with an electron microscope powerful enough to read the card, then hook up with a boffin online for a late night drink one day ...

i think nag3 will be cracked at somepoint,it maybe months or years.the old days when analogue was about, wait 2 hours then you have your chans .when it ended,someone told me then thats the end of free tv,look wot happened. someone will get right,someday...

Someone somewhere always wants to make money from cracking/hacking.

But Sky set up the N3 encryption a long time ago and there is only one way round it.

this is the way for the future. And money will always line the pockets of all the people who get close.

They may even end up working along side the people who made it.
