Don't you read any of the info on N3? it's been around YEARS in other countries with biggest customer bases on satelitte and it hasn't been cracked. Just because VM in the UK goes doesn't mean that it will suddenly be hacked! Similar results can be achieved by card sharing

I think no! not that it matters coz i hav'nt a clue about anything other than flashing my own hd soon to be dead ex7000, I've got the film an kids stuff sorted when it goes but stuck for sport an i don't wanna start paying so i'm ask all you people to suggest places to watch the sport, decent sites though not ones that crash all the time! ant ideas?

Eh encryption? Sky uses N3 as well not just NDS Encryption. Look at our european sky providers.

i think it will be hacked sometime in the future and a lot longer before any of us get are hands on it, in the mean time i am happy to pay 69 quid a month for all channles with some in hd.
like most had it free for years so it dont bother me.

Eh no, BskyB uses NDS, Newscorp owns both of em which in turn is owned by rupert murdoch.

Who actively invested money to hack N2 in the states, with the help of Christopher Tarnovsky, relsulting in a multi million dollar lawsuit.

BskyB is not the same as sky across Europe. And even at that sky Italia ect uses NDS Videoguard.

May be wrong but Nagra is just used to exchange the three keys is it not? In Germany, there was a setup where a server was hosted which obtained the keys and pubished it. So Satelite reciever boxes connected to the Internet could actually point to this server and pick-up the latest keys.

This may be a way to go...I guess the main issue is finding out what the keys are in the first place.

this my friend is referred to as card sharing and this is not a hack due to a legal subscription and card is required to view
