My keylist file is completely blank.......is this normal?
i have entered the keys but none of them work.

Ok folks, don't exactly know what's going on today. Is it a genuine problem with VM? Have they changed the keyroll method? I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

There's a PC application that will give you the keys and they work.

The keys are not auto updating for me so manual entry of the keys is required. Either FTP to the box and edit the /var/keys/Keylist.txt (evocamd) or /var/keys/Softcam.Key (mgcamd) file with the new keys or use Tuxbox Commander or another plugin to edit them. The files will most likely have more than one line of keys, the top two are the ones in use, you can delete all other lines. In the KeyMaster application, there is a space between each set of two characters, there should be NO space in the keylist.txt file, it should be a continuous line of 16 characters (0123456789ABCDEF).

Using the KeyMaster application, the keys still need to be updated by someone at the other end, it's not an autop update program so if they are not workig, give it time, don't be posting that it doesn't work.

If you can manually edit the keys on your box, you'll be ok for the short term.

Sorry complete novice brought 2 arnet A700c boxes for the teenagers pluged in and off we go.Both boxes gone off with message waiting for codes, i know this may sound stupid to some but do i just wait and they will come back on or do i need to do something to the boxes please can someone explain sorry i am really computer illiterate so make it simple thnk you so so much x
