    hi. tried that still no joy,the net id on box is 00008,it should be 40966.

      oh thats the prob then, the net id is incorrcet, r u sure the box is a 2110c and not a 2100c???..

        yes on back of box it says model:smt- 2110c.

          hi m8, ok the reason ur box freq wont change is coz net id is incorrect, now sorting out the net id on that model isant easy, it requies wots called a chip lift, wot i mean by that is there is a chip on mother board that needs to be blanked then re programmed with the correct net id, for this u need a card progger/ jtager, r u famillier with this sort of stuff?? if not there is another way but its not garanteed the box will update, let me know wot u wont to do and i will talk u throuhg it.....

              i will leave it now,i have ordered a kyptview a780,so i will put other vm box we have down stairs in his room,thanks for all your help you`ve been a star thanks again m8.
