Yes SVU 7 working all over U.K. Read info in DOWNLOADS
SVU 7 firmware & instructions 27/Sept/10. When flashing box
use Carling 1.03 firmware as that's latest firmware for SVU 7

You would need to post back with some detail of your progress.
Did you flash box with Carling 1.03 firmware.
Did you pick up channels when you scanned
        Is box connected to router.
        Can you view FTA channs
Did you turn on auto-updates in EMU
Did you select U-stream in net-application

Look in NETWORK & make sure it is set to U-stream.
Check IP-setup, should show IP address. If not box is not
connecting to router successfully. Power-off router & box, then
power-on router, then box. You didn't say if you could view FTA channs.
Make sure you use straight LAN cable from router to adaptor
and connect adaptor to rs-232 port at back of box.
Check SYSTEM INFORMATION to see is Carling 1.03 installed
            successfully

You can use HOMEPLUGS or OPEN_MEDIA wifi bridge but the
                LAN-cable you have is best
