can any one tell me please how to put this autoupdate bin file, onto my digivox xl black one.

Have never seen a xl but if its similar to the original digivox you will do as follows.

1. Unzip the software.
2. Open up the software loader, click on browse and navigate to where you have saved the software on your pc and double click.
3. Join up the box with the pc using a null modem cable.
4. Click on download. Cant remember if the boxes have to switched off before download. Try flashing with box on and if that doesnt work switch the box off, click on download then quickly turn box on.
5. The box will start to flash. Once you get the download successful message - wait until the display changes to a channel number (i.e. 0001).
6. Using remote press menu, system information press ok, then 1004 and make sure "key emu" option indicates on.
7. You should do a factory reset after flash and then rescan for channels. Otherwise your channel data will be screwed up and the box is unlikely to auto update.
8. Go to sky sports or any scrambled channel and let the box update.

Tryed this file 96% reverts to 0 flash fail? any sugestions please?

its ok for me just tried it. download winrar (google and you will find) and run this. You will then be able to open it.

I've downloaded winrar v3.8 but am still not having any luck. Getting an error message telling me that the archive is corroupt.

Flash fail at 96%?

No problem loading file goes to 96% then stops and flash failed on Digivox XL ?
tryed by powering on with download still no joy! would appreciate any input on my probs lads.

maybe the file is corrupt that is the reason for it failing. it opens up fine for me but i aint flashed it as i dont have one. i took it from another site and others seem to have used it ok.

Sorry for being thick but when i open the file in winrar, it just comes up as a load of incoherrant txt. What am i doing wrong?? Pls Help
