I belive they change daily. I recommend downloading the new firmware on the box to avoid having to enter new keys daily.Hi,
Thankyou to everyone on this forum. I managed to get the key code from key master and manually inputted them in. Can anyone advise me how long this should allow me to use my box for?? Does it change very often??
On another point can someone advise me if there are any boxes which will allow you to wathc HD TV???
Thanks
Regarding HD, i don't believe there is a box (regarding boxes discussed on this forum) availble that is capable of this at the moment.Comment

It's great that the new firmware (v4200) for digivox sorts the problems with the keys, however it still has the same bugs that v4000 had.
I tried v4000 and because of the bugs i went back to v2600, and i assumed that this new version-v4200-would sort out the bugs v4000 has, but it doesn't.
When you want to move a channel to a different place on the EPG, and save it, it doesn't really save. There are gaps in the numbers between channels, they cannot be sorted alphabetically. That's the bugs i've come across anyway.
Don't get me wrong, i appreciate that the v4200 has been released so quickly and sorts out the key problems, i am grateful.

RS232 cable
Hi
If you have a Digivox XL like me, just check the back in case, and you will see a port for your RS232 cable. If it is like mine then you will need a DB9 female end to your cable .... believe me, I may sound techy but I am not. I worked this out after looking at several pictures of the cables on that famous auction site last night. It is the female version as it comes with holes, not pins which I need for my Digivox XL as where I put the RS232 cabel in, there are pins already. Its called DB9 as it has 9 pins.
As to the other end of the cable, it depends on what ports you have on your PC, I went for USB.
Hope this helps.Comment
