I'd say thats a bit steep m8 depending on the gift, if its just uk based gift then you could of had a decent HD unit and arranged your own server access for around the same money this has cost you. You live and learn m8.

think you may have got me wrong m8 i am not trying to say that kv are trying to con peeps more that is a business (an ileagle one at that) and eventualy its gonna go off(wages verses risk equation etc) i am not arsed as long as ive had my moneys worth which has been said on here lots of times it wont take long because of the firkin stupid prices sly and vermin charge for there "service" as you say its 90% working again the missus can watch as many ncis lawandorder dookikywatsits as she wants which stops her mithering me which is cool so dont think ill be selling it just yet. As for the sat route confused .com isnt in it my dad has a 1.5 meter motorised dish etc hes bin into this stuff for years and he keeps tryin to explain it to me "its dead simple all you need is a " then its back to trying to understand urdu or sommat maybee if i try the dedicated sat forums as you said i might be able to get my head round it

I wasn't really focusing the "kv conning people" onto you, I was just saying it aloud. Because there has been so many people moaning over KV in the recent weeks, even going as far to saying things like "why is the box 160 if its sold a cable fta receiver".. I mean, that really is being patronising.

Also what lagerland said.. there is a Satellite section here on DK, that is where I was refering too. But you would need a dedicated c/s forum for your c/s stuff.... just google "cardshare" and join the first one under the ads.. dont sub to a website for c/s as they go down easily and are usually just already-customers from somewhere else who just set up a page to affilate under their own account as a reseller to make cash from each sale. Go through a forum.. plenty of different offerings and someone to contact if you have problems.

TM500 super is a 75 quid reciever, traders who sell these preconfigured probably buy in bulk and get them even cheaper. The software on these recievers is rubbish UR Team images....nowhere near as good as Dreambox software. You could have got a basic HD box like Openbox for 85 quid. Or a Dreambox 800HD clone for around 130.

You'll probbaly find if you bought it preconfigured, that they have locked down the reciever with passwords so you cant access any of the settings or reconfigure the reciever.

Never buy preconfigured boxes...put some time and effort into learning how basic Sat setup and CS works...it will be more beneficial for you in the long run. Basically you might now be in another KV/SV situation...if your preconfigured share goes down...you have to rely on the trader you bought the box from..

Who cares, bit late now...end of football season. Thanks to Kryptview..you guys missed the cricket world cup final, most of the important champions league matches and got major glitchy, on/off chanels making the closing weeks of the premiership unwatchable....

Ripped off and ran

I think there has been many impatient people complaining that need to give thanks to the work done by the KV team.
But more so I read so many saying have (WE) have been ripped off and exploited, rather than face the truth that this is a game or hobby we play at our own risk!!

Come back on and withdraw those angry remarks and save them till we actually do go down the plug hole.

Consider my plight , I was being told the KV had gone forever, and my box was a door stop.
So I used it to stop the door.
Now it is up and reconnected again I havent got a doorstop.

Can I sue the KV team for a new doorstop ??
