    SP1 jumping about

    Hi All

Ide just like to say Great Job KV, patients was the key, been watching and reading this last few weeks.......

My Bro has had a prob with Sly Sprts 1, where the picture is unwatchable and keeps freezing, this happened before this last blip and i got him to do a factory reset and rescan just now as he wasnt getting any channels, now getting whats available but still got the same prob with SP1. Any ideas?

    Thanks

That sounds more like a signal issue.

Check the cable feed, splitters and screw on ends if you have them.

Thing is he had this problem for the last 2 months, wondered if anyone else had/has problems watching SP1? Nothing to do with 'the return'

as stated check your signal strength when on sp1 if its less than 80% quality then you have found the problem

nope m8, sounds like a signal issue, if your using spliters or wireless try putting the cables and ethernet in direct see if it makes a difference

Signal fluctuations are usually caused by poor connections in the cable feed. The problem I have come accross repeatedly is the use of cheap splitters and screw on ends. (one tiny strand of the outer core touching the inner core being the most common)

Scart will have no effect on the signal flutuation.

if none of the above is working for you, try a new modem / router as it may be losing packets just a thought as this is what happend to my parents.
