I have a 750 + Iconn and dont have any problems.

Some times it takes a while to get locked onto the internet.

If the second light on the Iconn is flashing every few (could be between 5 & 30) seconds its not locked on.

First put the box on S Sports 1. (Known working channel)
Switch off all other devices that use the internet connection and modem, router, iconn and box in that order maging sure the modem has full booted before rebooting the router and the router has fully rebooted before before rebooting the iconn.

any box box 750 or 780 that has been running on original or older than than august sw wont work you need to reflash with null modem lead the download server is disabled so you cant update via lan ,
now you have all been told to regularly update via lan because your box would not work well without latest software so only yourselves to blame .

my box had s/w dated 10/04/2010
when you go into installation it only has 4 options
there is no s/w update on it
so this could apply to a lot of the boxes
            thanks

                Lets clear something up here.

Anyone who bought an Iconn before the switch to n3 in preparation may have software that didn't have the online update facility but did have the facility to function with the iconn.

This software was not generally released but may have been put on some early boxes as a beta for testing and is now not working.

                Check in your:

                Menu
                Installation
                0000 (password).

If the list has only four options the box will require flashing.

If the list has five options it should work.

I know the update server is disabled but what wer'e on about here is boxes that had working software but not the facility to update online. ie. No S/W/Update option in the Installation menu. This software was the original from February to April last year and was a beta type with some glitches.

Since around April last year all new software included the S/W Update option.

It appears there are many who have this software who will need to flash their boxes on computer or back to back.

I bought an iconnector for my A750 box because of N3. I have the S/W update option when i go into menu screen and did an update literally a day or two before the boxes went down for 2 weeks (around 2nd april 2011).

I have had zero problems with it.

Today it has been strange, the i connector randomly reboots itself once 4 lights appear. I type this just as the channels appear to be down so maybe thats why. However it did just keep flashing on 2 lights only this morning until I rebooted everything. Is this normal/to be expected as its never happened before?

                        All advice gratefully received

                        Cheers

Looks like your iconn has got a glitch and may need software reconfigure.

You need to manually update the s/w to 03/01/11
All the information is available on here, just look at the main threads... it looks a bit tricky at first but just download the instructions and print them off.
