how long does the new update filmware take?

hi guys i have not got the new firmware ie 3 /1/ 2011 and i have not done the s/w update, all in have done is the factory reset and i have alot of channels wrkin, ie sports the music. movies not on yet tho but i seem to have same chnnels as anybody else, should i do the above or is it dnt fix what aint broken????????/

new software is going to be the only valid s/w working once server reconstruction is complete, all previous versions will not connect. Now wether it is actually offering any significant improvements at this stage is debatable.

if you have the card every one will get all the chanels you have
i use a vpn do other users who are having trouble with update have vpn too

firstly the kv780 will update on any software even the original ,if you cant download software via lan do a factory reset and try again one of my m8s had this problem and he did a factory reset and swupdate worked ok after that try it and let us know

You could also try switching everything of by the mains m8 and rebooting including hub/modem/homeplugs if you have them.

my vpn could be problem or the new udate is from vergin
if kv have the cards why not just stream all channels and not just a few

they dont stream channels, it doesnt work like that.
