    Using a Splitter

If I use a splitter to have both my kryptview and VM box at the same time, will these weaken my signal? Meaning I get poorr quality/less channels/more glitching?

What if the spliter is connected but the VM box is on standby, will this still affect my signal?

Same here, never had any glitching or loss of picture above the usual i.e without the splitter.

You can use the Loop connector ( RF OUT ) to connect a coax straight from kryptview to RF IN on virgin box, no splitter needed.

Yeah ive been using a splitter for some years not had a problem, but some people do, it depends on what signal your getting in your area, if its a good one a splitter will hardly make a difference, but if it is already a bad signal without you 'may' have some picture quality probs but thats not a guaranteed.

2 boxes running off a splitter, they were both great before KV went, since it came back 1st box OK but 2nd all glitchy on a lot of channels and missing channels that 1st box has, transferred the data from 1 to 2 but not made a lot of difference.

Swap the ports for the boxes on the splitter,or swap all the connects from one box to the other.

I wouldnt advise connecting proper virgin box from loop out on KV, for the simple reason it doesnt have reverse path capability so you wont be able to access interactive services from it but more importantly there will be no talkback to VM from subbed box which isnt wise at all.

signal on the kv needs to be at 80 for best results.

Sorry mate, but are you saying connecting to a kryptview with no "talkback", means virgin are going to hunt down any subscriber who arn't "talking back" ???

or are you saying you shouldn't try to access interactive channels with this type of set up ?
