Great news that everything is up and running. Not used my box since December when a friend set it up for me. Because I am an IT novice can anyone give me an idiots guide on how to refresh the new firmware and a guide on procedures to get me going again.

dunno about that. I use KV and I don't know how to do it? my mate usually does mine, this is the first time I am looking into doing it myself. we all have to start somewhere, mate, not everyone was born an IT engineer

I am aoob as well. all I did was go to S/W update in the install menu and it worked first time. all channels came back on 10 secs ago

I hope that was a sarcastic comment, because we all know that SV are piss poor in support, and normally cut and run. So your comment is inaccurate at best.

@the loons, with mates down the road who knows this and that. I wonder if any of you will post and apologise, and admit that your wrong? I doubt it. But if you do, then I think thats commendable, as you will be proving your credentials in my eyes at least.

@Boonie, I would leave and never come back. Your 0-2 so far.

Perhaps now, the loons, and others will believe what the trusted members say, we all have friends how know someone, but not all of us release the info as its not needed to be common knowledge.

Did you reboot the router? Did you turn the box on and off? Are you using homeplugs, did you check to see if they are working? Have you check all your cables are in proper order and connected?
