invalid mac

I flashed back to the FTA firmware the invalid mac message had disappeared so i tried flashing to the august firmware and now the invalid mac message returned. Get the feeling im wasting my time.

there is no august f/w m8 so i dont know where you got it from your date should read 24/4/11 m8

I got it from another forum. it is dated 28-08-10.

I had the invalid mac come back two or three times. Older firmware is in the downloads:

Digital Kaos - Downloads - Kryptview_A780_18062010.bin

Digital Kaos - Downloads - Kryptview A780 180510 Bin

If you can get an old firmware on update it online.

Thanks for your help but i have tried loading all sorts of firmwares onto it but as soon as i put anything other than the FTA firmware i get the invalid mac error. Looks like topshooter is my only hope.
