doesnt matter mate. you do not need to display 0000 to update. just rig the box up to the pc and flash. it will work fine.

tried it loads and even tried the box to box method but it wont upload any software, think it may be knackered ??

are you getting free to air channels?

yes but the channels seem to be fixed from 1919 to 2***

have you tried a factory reset then rescan. i think that could be your problem.

Just got the box reset to factory settings and its up and running again just needs updating now.
